The Wedding, the Overwhelming Response, and the Solution

First off, we owe a great big thank you to everyone who attended Chapter One: The Wedding.  We have heard a lot of feedback from y'all, and it seems that things went over splendidly.  That is due primarily to the hard work and attention to detail of everyone who helped out, which includes (but is not limited to) our families, wedding party, and friends from school.  Thanks to everyone who helped, and everyone who came to celebrate with us!

Next, we have to address the issue of the Overwhelming Response.  It goes something like this: Jorden and I decided we wanted to keep our friends and family up-to-date on our adventures, and thus Adventuremail was created.  At Chapter One: The Wedding, we filled up every single slot on the Adventuremail list, and then some (the names and addresses continued onto the back of the page for a good while!)  Don't get us wrong; that's awesome!  Jorden and I feel extremely grateful and honored that so many people want to be kept up-to-date on our lives.  However, we have run into a logistical problem.  With so many Adventuremail recipients, we'll have a great deal of letters to print, sign, and mail... from Japan.  Looking into the costs and procedures associated with such an undertaking, my copilot and I have decided to resort to the less personal but more cost-effective model of electronic mail.

Thus, we have the Solution.  We will add that we are not extremely excited to have moved from snail mail to email.  Something about receiving letters is just so... invigorating, no?  Alas, it must be so to maintain our budget, time constraints, and sanity while overseas.

And so you find yourself here.  You have most likely received our postcard in the mail prompting you to view this page.  If you wish to receive Adventure[e]mails, please let us know by sending me the email address you wish to use.  You can find my email under my Blogger Profile (link on the right hand side of this page).  We will also be updating this Adventuremail Companion on our monthly Adventuremail Day, so be sure to check back frequently for pictures, videos, and whatever else is easier to put on a blog as opposed to an email.

Once more, thank you to everyone who wishes to play a role in the ongoing adventure.

Regards,

-The Adventurers
