Daniel did a swell job navigating the left side of narrow, crowded Japanese streets!
On our way to Mt. Haku
Daniel found a loophole
Beautiful hike!
A panoramic view from Mt. Haku
Such a long hike, but so beautiful!
The shrine at the summit
We made it to the top! It was so windy and foggy!
Our sweet little church.
Gearing up for the service. The Japanese man sitting at the table, Noboru, is the best. He speaks very little English, but he used what he knew to draw Daniel and me a very detailed bus route map so that we'll know how to get to church come winter. What a guy!
Kanazawa Station
My happy boy at an apple orchard in Suzu
Delicious!
The bearded JET gentlemen, from left to right: Alex from Seattle, Charles from St. Loius, Clint from Atlanta, Ryan from Toronto, and Daniel from Creepsville.
The most exciting part of my Sunday.
Getting ready for the weekly potluck feast. Shiro, the one with the hungry baby, is our pastor. Such a great community!
A Totoro tree!
